- Scope
- Layout, forming, concrete placement, and finish work for a shed pad plus extra patio area
This Chandler project was poured to create a solid base for a future shed and add a little more finished patio space along the side yard. The goal was simple: turn a loose gravel area into something cleaner, more usable, and ready for the next phase of the property.
Existing Side Yard and Layout
Before the pour, the area was open gravel along the block wall with room for a shed pad near the back and an extra concrete section closer to the patio. We laid the project out so both sections would fit the space cleanly and still leave good access through the side yard.

Forming and Prep
Once the layout was set, we formed the main pad area and got the base ready for concrete placement. On a project like this, the point is not just to pour two rectangles. It is to make sure the finished sections fit the yard well and are ready for real use.

Pour and Finish
After prep was complete, we poured and finished the new concrete sections to create a smooth, durable surface for the shed location and the added patio area.

Finished Shed Pad and Patio Space
The finished project gave the homeowner a defined slab for the future shed along with extra concrete space that made the side yard feel more finished and functional.

Why This Scope Worked
This was a straightforward project, but it solved two practical needs at once: a proper base for the future shed and a cleaner patio-style surface in the side yard. The result is a more usable space now, with the next improvement already planned for.
