- Concrete Patio Addition
- City Area
- Mesa, Arizona
- Project Use
- Poolside patio addition with support points for a future covered structure
- Scope
- Patio layout, footing excavation, column support preparation, forming, concrete placement, and finish work
This Mesa project was poured to add more usable patio space beside the pool and prepare the area for a future covered structure. Along with the new patio slab, we also installed strong footing locations where the cover columns were planned to go so the next phase would have the support it needed.
Patio Layout and Footing Prep
Before the concrete was placed, we graded and laid out the new patio area beside the pool. Part of the job was digging and preparing the deeper footing locations where the future patio cover columns would eventually land.

Forms and Column Support Locations
Once the layout was set, we formed the patio and built out the reinforced footing spots inside the slab area. Those stronger footing locations matter because the patio was not just being poured as a flat surface. It also had to be ready to carry the future column loads for the covered addition.

Finished Pool Patio Addition
After the pour and finish work were complete, the homeowners had a clean new patio section that added poolside space right away and set the project up for the future structure.

Why This Scope Worked
This project worked because it handled both the immediate use and the future plan. The new patio gave the yard more finished space around the pool, and the stronger footing locations made sure the area was ready for the patio cover columns that were coming next.
